In this night shift position, you will earn a competitive rate of $23.09 per hour. You will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of specialized food processing machinery. Proven experience as a Machine Operator, preferably within a food or beverage environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment efficiently.
• Ability to work the night shift consistently in a fast-paced production setting.
• Excellent attention to detail for quality inspections and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, or SQF) is a significant asset.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and team members.
• Ability to follow complex technical instructions and safety manuals accurately.

Responsibilities
Operate and monitor automated food processing and packaging machinery to ensure continuous production.
• Perform machine setups and changeovers according to production schedules and specifications.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet food safety and company standards.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment in compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Document production data, including output volumes, downtime, and quality control metrics.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing & logistics team to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
• Follow all lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols to ensure a zero-accident workplace.
• Load raw materials into machines and monitor the flow of ingredients or packaging components.

Qualifications
Minimum of 1-2 years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check and provide professional references.
• Reliable transportation to the Brantford facility for the night shift.
• Commitment to adhering to strict hygiene and gowning protocols (hairnets, smocks, etc.).
• Previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing & logistics role is preferred.
• Demonstrated track record of punctuality and reliability.
