Job Title: Nanny-House Manager We’re searching for an exceptional Nanny House Manager to join our family, Monday through Friday, in a long-term, full-time role. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on responsibility, brings deep maturity to their work, and genuinely cares about making a difference in a child’s life and a home’s daily rhythm. About the Role: You’ll be the heartbeat of our household—balancing attentive childcare with hands-on household management. Our child (toddler/preschooler) flourishes with a Montessori-inspired approach, so it’s vital you understand and respect these principles: fostering independence, curiosity, and gentle guidance. Clear communication and collaboration are essential, as we’ll work together to ensure the household runs smoothly for everyone involved. It's key that your experience leads you to be a self-starter and you can identify what needs to be done. You must also be willing and able to travel occasionally with our family, both domestically and internationally. A valid passport is required. The applicant must be a confident swimmer and willing to participate in swim lessons with our child, ensuring both safety and encouragement during water activities. Weekly outings to the library and various play groups will be part of your routine, supporting our son’s social and intellectual development. Responsibilities: Provide thoughtful, engaged care for our child through play, learning, and daily routines Support our child’s development using Montessori methods (or similar child-led philosophies) Manage the household: light cleaning, laundry, organizing, noting when household or toddler items need to be replenished, and running errands as needed Confidently prepare healthy, appealing meals and snacks for our child, and occasionally for the family Keep the kitchen organized, tidy, and running smoothly Maintain a calm, orderly, and joyful environment for the whole family Travel with the family as needed (passport required) Participate in swim lessons and water activities with our child Take our son to the library and various play groups on a weekly basis Who You Are: A true self-starter—highly experienced, and able to see what needs doing without being told Exceptionally mature and reliable—you’re the person people trust in a crisis Passionate about both nurturing children and keeping a home running smoothly Deeply familiar with household management (not just tidying, but proactively keeping a house in top shape) Knowledgeable about Montessori (or similar) approaches, and able to put them into practice Confident and capable in the kitchen, with a knack for preparing nutritious meals and snacks for children and families Discreet, proactive, and genuinely invested in this line of work Willing and able to travel occasionally with our family, with a valid passport Able to work Monday to Friday, with some flexibility as needed ___ If you’re looking for a role where your maturity, reliability, and passion for childcare and home management are truly valued, we’d love to hear from you.
