JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Originate, under the close supervision of a licensed P.Eng, routine or low complexity deliverables in the Systems Security Engineering area.
- Review and raise comments against technical plans, reports and work products developed by internal & external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the Systems Security Engineering area and the broader Security discipline across the business.
- Provide technical input into the design of ship security systems, and cybersecurity input into the design of ship systems.
- Provide oversight and management of subcontractors and the work they perform towards project milestones and objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Please note this position requires a full-time, in-office presence.
