Responsibilities- Identify, qualify, and secure net-new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, cold calling, and local market mapping (60% hunting).
- Manage, grow, and cultivate long-term relationships with an assigned portfolio of commercial accounts, acting as a technical solution consultant (40% farming).
- Conduct high-level sales presentations and deliver comprehensive value-add proposals to operational, purchasing, and executive-level decision-makers.
- Collaborate closely with internal customer service and operational teams to ensure accurate quotes, reliable lead times, and seamless client onboarding.
- Maintain a high-volume field sales schedule, traveling up to 70% within the local territory to meet clients face-to-face.
Qualifications- 3 to 5 years of proven success in a B2B outside sales or territory management role.
- Experience within industrial distribution, packaging, manufacturing, or structured corporate B2B service sectors.
- Demonstrated capability to source your own pipeline, handle complex buying influences, and independently close sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Must possess a valid driver’s licence, clean driving record, and access to a reliable personal vehicle for regular territory travel.
