CLERICAL RELIEF POSITIONS

AVAILABILITY : On-Call / Relief (Up 35 hours per week)

WAGE RATE : $24.68 - $26.74 per hour

Plus : 5% of bi-weekly earnings in lieu of vacation and 5% of straight time earnings in each pay period in lieu of statutory holidays. After successfully completing a probationary period and attaining seniority, relief staff working on call will receive 10% in lieu of benefits and paid leaves when working 17.5 hours or more per week.

DURATION : 10 Month (September to June)

This position offers flexible hours and ample time off including summer and winter / spring breaks.

Clerical relief will have the opportunity to apply internally on part-time and full-time opportunities .

POSITION SUMMARY :

• Process and circulate resources in the library, take inventory, perform clerical / receptionist and word processing duties and monitor students.
• Accurately and efficiently utilize word processing, spreadsheet, database and communications software.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Shortlisted candidates will be required to successfully pass a clerical assessment.
