Position Overview :
NCSG Crane & Heavy Haul Services in Fort St John, BC is seeking potential newcomers who are interested in a career as a Crane Operator. The Bring on Board (BOB) / Pre Apprentice candidate will be required to demonstrate performance excellence during a 90-day assessment period, during which the candidate will be working in an entry-level Laborer role. The program is intended to help the entrant get exposed to the industry and develop their job skills and trade readiness. NCSG has established performance standards that identify characteristics of candidates who will excel in our industry. Performance skills the BOB / Pre Apprentice candidate will be evaluated on are attendance, attitude, health & safety, initiative, job knowledge, productivity, quality of work, and working well with others. Successful candidates will transition into an apprenticeship opportunity. This program is managed in collaboration with Local 115 and the Crane Rental Collective Agreement terms and conditions.
