The successful candidate

must be prepared for and enjoy the physical nature of this work in all outdoor weather conditions. Strong communication skills both verbal and written are required to be successful in this role.Qualifications for this position include : Valid Class 1 B.C. Driver's License with air endorsement;Minimum 2 years recent related practical experience in the operation of heavy-duty equipment, or an equivalent combination of training and experienceMechanical knowledge and skill in the operation and servicing of equipment to be operatedThis is a unionized position that offers a 37.5-hour work week with an hourly wage rate of $30.90, plus a liberal benefit package including Municipal Pension, health, vacation and sick benefits.
