Overview

Allied Universal is seeking security professionals in Windsor, Ontario. The role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and a background in corporate security.

Responsibilities

• Present a polished, professional, customer‑friendly image at all times.
• Escort guards required to escort contractors and guests through the facility.
• Incident response, patrols and inspections of space and equipment.
• Liaise with the Corporate Security program to compound incident response.
• Record activities and incidents via security tours.
• Cross‑training in other security positions as required (e.g., card holder administration assistance).
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to de‑escalate.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies.
• Demonstrate good judgment, common sense, and decision‑making ability, especially when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must demonstrate strong de‑escalation skills when confronted with difficult situations.
