Building Maintenance Technician
Brampton, ON
Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm, some overtime required and some travel required
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00/hour
Job Duties:
- Perform maintenance on facility mechanical systems both indoors and outdoors
- Perform HVAC and plumbing related tasks such as filter replacements, lightbulb changes, and caulking
- Preventative maintenance tasks including equipment calibration and repairs
- Monitor and assess equipment and building systems to support repair or replacement - Schedule external vendors and contractors for maintenance activities when needed
- Provide or support 24/7 on-call coverage to respond to facility-related emergencies
Job Requirements:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to fix maintenance and building related issues
- Previous experience in a similar role (handy work / building facilities maintenance)
- Knowledge of Mechanical systems, Electrical systems, HVAC, and BAS systems - Must have a vehicle and valid license for required travel
