Role Responsibilities
Uncover your impact and see how your organizational skills shape wildfire logistics. As a Wildfire Logistics Assistant reporting to the Logistics Coordinator in one of Alberta’s Forest Area Offices, you play an integral role in supporting wildfire needs.
In this dynamic, ever-changing environment, your collaboration with various parties is essential. With the guidance of the Logistics Coordinator and Duty Officer, your demonstrated communication skills and agility ensure success in managing changing priorities and coordinating resources.
Responsibilities
Resource Coordination :
- Hire and coordinate various contracted resources for fire operations and pre-suppression needs, including Heavy Equipment, Firetack Crews, Fuel, Incident Camps & Facilities, Medics, Security, and Single Resource Personnel.
