Come join our TJX family—a Fortune 100 company and the world’s leading off-price retailer. Here at TJX Canada, we are an equal opportunity employer committed to the inclusion and accommodation of all individuals.

Job Description:

We’re looking for a Loss Prevention Training Manager who is motivated by driving high‑impact training programs that strengthen core loss prevention capabilities across the organization. In this role, you’ll lead strategic planning, governance, and continuous improvement of scalable LP training solutions while partnering closely with internal and external collaborators. You will ensure our learning programs deliver meaningful, measurable results. This is an opportunity to influence enterprise‑wide practices, drive innovation in learning, and make a visible impact on performance and risk reduction.

Why Work With Us?

  • We champion a workplace grounded in integrity, respect, and collaboration, where different perspectives are valued and associates feel supported and included.
  • Outstanding health, benefits & financial rewards – Enjoy immediate access to a comprehensive Group Benefits package, a Management Incentive Plan, a robust Retirement Savings Program, and well‑being resources for you and your family.
  • Work–life balance you can count on – Benefit from a guaranteed ‑hour work week year‑round, competitive vacation with an optional extra week through our Vacation Trade Program, advance scheduling, and reimbursed parking and mileage where applicable.
  • Career growth & development – Take advantage of extensive training and development resources, clearly defined career paths, tuition reimbursement, and ongoing learning opportunities developed to help you grow and succeed.
  • Tools, perks & added convenience – Receive company‑provided equipment (cell phone, laptop, tools), provincial security licensing training with annual fee reimbursement, and associate discounts available to you and eligible family members.

What You’ll Do:

  • Strategic Training Leadership: Develops and implements a 3–12‑month LP training strategy aligned to organizational priorities, contributing to the broader LP Training roadmap while ensuring resources support future delivery needs.
  • Trainer Enablement & Certification: Leads the Train‑the‑Trainer framework, manages facilitator certification for in‑person and virtual delivery, mentors trainers on guidelines, and provides ongoing evaluation and feedback to support capability development.
  • Data‑Driven Program Improvement: Uses analytics, participant feedback, and facilitator insights to identify training gaps, prioritize high‑risk areas, and measure program impact on shrink reduction and compliance, recommending continuous improvements.
  • Cross‑Functional Partnership & Delivery Management: Partners with LP Field leadership and cross‑functional partners to align training with business needs, manages the LP Learning Calendar and facilitation resources, and leads or contributes to annual and special projects as required.

About You:

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a training and development role required.
  • Knowledge of TJXC loss prevention training programs, or experience with LP training at a similar scale of organization an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required and Articulate and Adobe Suite considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated facilitation of training sessions and meetings; excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills; strong editing, proofreading, and design abilities; ability to influence business partners and collaborate effectively. Bilingual fluency in English and French (Quebec) and post-secondary education/diploma in Adult Learning or Communications preferred.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, including issue management, evaluation of information, and generation of practical solutions. Ability to adapt quickly, leverage prior experience, make sound decisions, revise strategies, and support departmental vision in a changing work environment.
  • Proven organizational and project management capabilities, including defining requirements, timelines, and risks. Team-oriented yet able to work independently, manage time effectively, and take full ownership of projects from design through execution.
