PORTÉE GÉNÉRALE

Gère un ou plusieurs comptes assignés, avec comme principale responsabilité de créer de la valeur pour les clients attribués et d’identifier de nouvelles opportunités de produits à vendre aux clients existants. Le rôle d’un(e) professionnel(le) des ventes est de maintenir une relation d’affaires avec le client, respecter les engagements contractuels, augmenter les volumes actuels, optimiser la tarification et améliorer la marge brute. Cette personne est aussi appelée à développer de nouvelles affaires et à atteindre ou surpasser les objectifs annuels de performance et de rentabilité.

CONNAISSANCES

Solide connaissance des tendances du marché dans les secteurs de la restauration et de l’hôtellerie . Expérience avec les distributeurs, les utilisateurs finaux, et preuve de gestion efficace de relations d’affaires corporatives. Sens de l’organisation développé, compétences démontrées en gestion de projets et du temps. Bon sens financier, expérience en gestion de P & L, et certaines compétences en négociation de contrats juridiques.

COMPLEXITÉ DU POSTE

Exécute de manière autonome des tâches non routinières et modérément complexes. Fait de la recherche, traite et analyse des données, et peut formuler des recommandations. Utilise efficacement les ordinateurs et autres systèmes pour accéder à l'information, la maintenir et la manipuler. Peut offrir un rôle de leadership ou d’encadrement à des collègues de niveaux inférieurs. Doit être en mesure de comprendre les composantes techniques de l’équipement sur le terrain ainsi que les ententes de niveau de service. Peut déterminer les méthodes, procédures standards, séquences; participe à la rédaction d'appels d’offres (RFP), d’ententes de services et à la définition des besoins de formation.

GENERAL SCOPE

Manages an assigned account, or group of accounts, with the primary responsibility to create value for the assigned customers; and identifying new product opportunities and selling to existing customers. A Sales Professional’s sole focus is to maintain corporate relationship, deliver contractual commitments & grow current volume, price capture and to improve gross profit. A Sales Professional is expected to work on attaining new business and achieve / exceed annual operating plan & profitability targets.

KNOWLEDGE

Solid knowledge of the Foodservice & Hospitality industry market trends. Experience with distribution, end users and proven track record of managing corporate relationships. Well organized and demonstrated strengths in project and time management. Financial acumen, P & L management, some legal contract negotiation skillset.

JOB COMPLEXITY

Independently performs non-routine and moderately complex assignments. Researches assignments, processes, and analyzes data and may develop recommendations. Competently uses computers and other systems to access, maintain, and manipulate data. May provide leadership, direction to lower level employees. Has ability to understand technical component of field equipment and service level agreement component. May determine methods, standard operations procedures, sequences; develops and / or participates in request for proposals (RFP's), service level agreements and training requirements.

IMPACT

Impact may affect work of others and potentially, if not caught, at section level. Contributes to and supports the completion of major organization activity. Erroneous work would have negative impact.

Successful candidate is proficient (verbal, written) in French and English
