System Test Specialist – Québec (Hybrid)

As a System Test Specialist you will contribute directly to the validation and quality of our PIC (Photonic Integrated Circuit) and CTP10 product stations. Working closely with the R&D and integration teams, your primary role will be to design, document, and execute manual test plans across complex systems that integrate optical, electrical, and mechanical instruments .

We are looking for someone autonomous and resourceful , capable of quickly learning the testing environment and taking ownership of test planning and execution in a context where existing product knowledge is still developing within the team.

Your Role

More specifically, as a System Test Specialist , you will :

• Design and document manual test cases to validate new features and product behavior;
• Execute tests on PIC and CTP10 stations , which include a wide variety of laboratory instruments (e.g., lasers, optical sensors, motion controllers, signal generators);
• Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and integration teams to understand product functionality and ensure proper coverage ;
• Identify, document, and track bugs or unexpected behavior through issue tracking tools;
• Create and maintain clear and reusable test documentation for future QA activities;
• Help build product knowledge within the team by sharing insights and documentation.
