As a Junior Accountant, you'll play a vital role in preparing financial reports and statements, handling bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. We are seeking a candidate with not only a strong foundation in accounting but also exceptional interpersonal skills and a keen business acumen.

What You Bring to the Table
- Post-secondary education in accounting or finance; CPA designation considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and high-quality work
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Self-starter who can step into complex situations and drive results
- Sound decision-making skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; works well within a team environment
- Professional, tactful, and discreet when handling sensitive and confidential information
- Proficient in financial systems and tools, including Excel, Sage 300, AccPac, and ADP
Your Days Will Look Like
- Support Finance leadership in day-to-day accounting operations
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements across multiple businesses
- Support venue-level analysis, including reviewing forecasts, pricing, and operational performance to identify opportunities to improve revenue and cost efficiency
- Assist in the preparation of year-end working papers for multiple businesses
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and support ongoing reviews
- Support cyclical AP, AR, and inventory processes, including preparation and filing of GST and PST returns
- Uphold company Core Values in all aspects of work
- Develop a strong business partner mindset while supporting operational teams and building commercial awareness
