About the role :
The Food & Beverage Server provides exceptional quality and service to Braidwoodguests. In this role, you will be tasked with providing an expertly served beverage or dining experience; anticipating the guests’ needs and as an expert on the menu options; and delivering memorable guest experiences. This role is part of the Server team, reporting to the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager.
What you will do :
Provide an enjoyable dining experience through excellence for quality, professionalism, and friendliness.
Anticipate guest needs and satisfaction; offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Assist in clearing and resetting tables according to service standards
Ensure a seamless dining experience for guests dining at Braidwood Tavern.
Setting up the restaurant for service, including the buffet.
Presenting the menu providing detailed explanations of menu items, and recommending dishes.
Take guest orders, including to-go items.
Deliver food and beverages to guests promptly while ensuring dishes are as requested.
Anticipate guest needs, ensure satisfaction and respond appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Handling payments accurately, processing transactions, and presenting bills to guests.
What you bring :
An outgoing personality and a can-do approach to an assigned task
High level of understanding and knowledge of food and wine
Background in Luxury Resort and Hotel considered an asset
Previousexperience as a Server in a restaurant or hotel is required.
Passion and knowledge of food and beverage products.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Strong command of the English language.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including wine and cocktail recommendations.
Excellent commitment to service.
Must have a current Serving it Right certificate.
Ability to work in Canada.
