Your opportunity :
Under the general supervision of the Associate Chair, Undergraduate Studies and the Department Manager, the incumbent is responsible for leading the instructional support team to provide administrative support for the teaching of large undergraduate first and second year mathematic courses.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Implementing plans and process improvements for program activities
- Responding to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting as appropriate
- Analyzing service delivery and / or internal processes and recommending improvements
- Determining logistics for program activities
- Determining work priorities based on knowledge of deadlines
- Coordinating meeting schedules, agendas, materials, action and follow-up items
- Writing routine documents and correspondence
- Directing the activities of a small group of staff-appointed employees all performing a similar function, including responsibility for scheduling and / or workflow
