Job descriptionHigh school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary education in supply chain, logistics, or business is an asset 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain coordination Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel Ability to analyze data and prepare reports Strong communication and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment Combination of office and warehouse environment May require standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods Occasional overtime during physical inventory counts or peak periods Inventory accuracy and shrinkage rates Stock availability and backorder reduction Compliance with inventory procedures and audits

Position Summary
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels to support efficient operations. This role ensures inventory records are accurate, stock levels optimized, and materials are available to meet operational and customer needs while minimizing shortages, excess stock, and waste.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records in inventory management systems
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Track inventory movement, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and shipments
- Prepare inventory reports and usage analyses for management
- Ensure proper labeling and organization of inventory
- Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory and recommend corrective actions
- Support inventory-related audits and compliance requirements
- Assist with implementing and improving inventory control procedures and best practices
- Communicate inventory status potential issues to relevant stakeholders
