The Opportunity We are seeking a full-time, temporary salaried instructor who is a dynamic team-oriented individual to instruct within the Heavy Equipment Technician Programs. The candidate will be a team player demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to learner success. This position will appeal to an individual who seeks the challenges and opportunities to work with learners.
The Role
- Prepare and present lessons to learners
- Instruct, supervise, and coach learners in a classroom and shop environment
- Provide ongoing support, guidance, and feedback to learners by assessing and evaluating learner progress and achievement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create an engaging and positive work and learning environment
- Continuously develop professionally by enhancing both technical knowledge and instructional skills
- Perform related duties as assigned to meet the emerging needs of SAIT and its students
