On behalf of Ignite Technical Resources , we are recruiting for a Business Support Specialist to join our client’s team on the Asset Management Information Project (AMIP) . This role will focus on project coordination, data validation, and change management to support the implementation of future-state integrated asset management business processes within the Supply Chain department.
Summary of the role :
The Business Support Specialist will play a key role in enhancing asset management processes by providing project coordination, data validation, and operational support to internal project resources. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams in a dynamic project environment.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Provide project coordination support, including scheduling workshops, preparing materials, and tracking project progress.
- Document business requirements and manage stakeholder feedback.
- Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance tasks related to datasets such as purchase orders and item masters.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by identifying test scenarios and tracking issues and results.
- Assist in change management activities, including the creation of materials and coordination of training sessions.
- Provide operational support to internal project resources (e.g., Procurement, Warehouse / Logistics) attending workshops and meetings.

This is a 1-year contract position based in the Richmond location, with the possibility of extension. The expected start date is January 6, 2025 . Candidates must be able to work onsite as required. Flexibility regarding specific work arrangements will be discussed during the interview process. No background checks are required for this role.
