Reporting to the VicePresident (Finance and Administration) the Director of Information Technology Services (ITS) provides leadership management and oversight of information technology services and of the Universitys computing resources.
Salary range : Category D Level 5 $85305 $117594
Union / Exempt : Exempt
Term : Permanent FullTime
Hours of work : Monday to Friday; 8 : 30 a.m. 4 : 30 p.m.

What youll do
Responsibilities
Leadership
- Provides overall direction to the ITS Department and communicates to unit staff the Universitys information technology plans and objectives and strategies for achieving these plans and objectives.
- Ensures that the ITS Department provides high levels of service to students faculty and staff.
- Assists with the development of the annual ITS budget and has responsibility for administering the budget.
- Leads procurement for IT solutions including the development of Requests for Proposals and negotiates contracts for IT products with various vendors in consultation with senior administration.
- Reviews all requests to purchase computer equipment and supplies to ensure all equipment within the University is compatible with the policies and standards of the ITS Department.
