Job Description

General Duties

  • Application release activities as assigned.
  • Completion of all assigned maintenance, support and development activities (service requests, releases, incidents, problems, etc.).
  • Resolution of incident and problem management tasks.
  • Updating of team knowledge sites and documentation as applicable.
  • Provide operations support as part of the team rotation. Compensation will be based on departmental rates for on call, after hours.
  • Other duties as assigned, such as update team documentation as required, participate in team scrums as required, etc.

Mandatory Requirements :

  • A University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and
  • experience may be considered.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of demonstrated programming experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience leading a programming team.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) including the creation of SSIS packages.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English.
  • The candidate must be available to start work immediately on site in Fredericton NB on the date specified in Section 8 of the SOW.
  • Vendors are required to limit their number of submissions to two.

    • Scored Requirements :

  • Demonstrated experience with Regional Health Authority and / or Department of Health applications in Canada. (5 Years +)
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing the implementation of technical solutions in an operational environment. (5 Years +)
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and deploying SSRS reports. (3 Years +)
  • Demonstrated experience with database tables, including skills such as; views, functions, stored procedures, indexes, and performance tuning for SQL Server implementations. (5 Years +)
  • Demonstrated experience with SQL Server 2019 (or later), Enterprise BI, and / or other analytic / data warehouse technology (5 Years +)
  • Demonstrated experience in architecture where multiple systems and domains need be considered from an enterprise view. (5 Years +)
  • Demonstrated experience with Cognos / Impromptu.(3 Years +)
  • Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting SQL-based reports. (5 Years +)
  • Demonstrated experience with relational database concepts and software development lifecycles. (5 Years +)
