Developer Support – Unit Testing:

  • Work closely with the Senior Developer to design and implement robust unit tests.
  • Promote test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) practices.
  • Integrate unit tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

Use Case Development:

  • Collaborate with the Systems Analyst and business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
  • Write structured use cases that describe user interactions, system behavior, and edge conditions.
  • Ensure use cases support performance, accessibility (AODA), and security testing.
  • Maintain traceability between use cases, test cases, and business requirements.

Automation & Tooling:

  • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and pipelines.
  • Use tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JMeter, and LoadRunner.
  • Monitor test execution and optimize test environments and data sets.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

  • Ensure all testing activities comply with OPS QA standards and AODA accessibility requirements.
  • Conduct performance, load, and security testing.
  • Document and report defects; participate in defect triage and resolution.

Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Lead UAT planning and coordination with business users.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and testers.
  • Support cross-branch working groups and digital transformation initiatives.
