Strong understanding of data warehousing principles (data modeling, ETL, integration, governance). In-depth knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics (architecture, data storage options, ingestion mechanisms, security features). Strong SQL skills (complex queries, performance optimization). Development experience with Dynamics 365 and the Common Data Model. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Azure Repos) and collaboration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps). Experience with SSIS, SSRS. Initially hybrid work arrangement (7.25 hours / day, Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM), subject to change. Job Summary :
This Software Developer position involves contributing to the development of "PGTIMS," a new Dynamics CE-based solution. The role focuses on data migration from legacy systems to a new data warehouse / lakehouse on Microsoft Azure, building data assets within the lakehouse, and creating Power BI reports. Responsibilities include data warehouse design, ETL process development, data modeling, data security implementation, report creation, and performance optimization. The position is initially listed as hybrid (7.25 hours / day, Monday-Friday, between 8 : 00 AM and 5 : 00 PM), but this is subject to change. The developer will be under the direction of the hiring manager and must adhere to government security procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities :
- Data Warehouse Design : Analyze business requirements and design an efficient data warehouse / lakehouse on Microsoft Azure.
- Data Integration and ETL : Develop and automate ETL processes to load data from Dynamics 365 CE and F&O into the new data warehouse / lakehouse. Integrate data from diverse sources.
- Data Modeling : Create logical and physical data models for reporting and analytical needs.
- Data Security and Governance : Implement security controls to protect sensitive data.
- Reporting and Visualization : Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations. Ensure report quality, accuracy, and integrity.
- Performance Optimization : Fine-tune the data warehouse and reporting processes for optimal performance.
- Complete work and achieve milestones within deadlines.
- Notify the project manager of any issues or concerns.
- Submit deliverables for approval as completed.
- Comply with government security procedures and practices.
- Comply with government architecture / technology standards and best practices.
- Comply with government conflict of interest and confidentiality guidelines.
- Provide knowledge and skill transfer to designated staff.
- Comply with applicable government guidelines, standards, and procedures.
- Document executed tasks using project-specified tools.
