The Role

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Consultant with a strong Enterprise Architect mindset to lead and deliver cloud modernization and transformation initiatives for large, complex enterprise environments.

This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, enterprise architecture, and cloud delivery, enabling organizations to modernize legacy platforms, adopt cloud-native operating models, and realize measurable business outcomes. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor and architecture leader, shaping cloud transformation roadmaps while guiding execution across multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires deep experience in enterprise-scale cloud architecture, modernization programs, operating model transformation, and financial governance (FinOps), with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate strategy into actionable architectures and delivery plans.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture & Cloud Transformation Leadership

  • Act as Enterprise Architecture lead for cloud modernization and transformation programs, ensuring alignment between business strategy, IT strategy, and execution.

  • Define target-state cloud architectures (multi-cloud / hybrid), including application, data, infrastructure, security, and integration domains.

  • Lead legacy modernization strategies, including re-host, re-platform, refactor, re-architect, and cloud-native adoption.

  • Establish architecture principles, standards, and guardrails to guide scalable and secure cloud adoption.

  • Ensure architectural alignment across portfolios, platforms, and delivery teams.

Cloud Strategy, Modernization & Advisory

  • Lead cloud strategy and modernization assessments, including:

    Current-state architecture analysis

    Cloud readiness and application rationalization

    Migration and modernization roadmaps

Business case, ROI, and TCO modeling

  • Advise clients on cloud operating models, governance, platform teams, and product-centric delivery.

  • Provide FinOps and cloud economics guidance, embedding financial accountability into architecture and delivery decisions.

  • Support regulatory, security, and risk considerations across industries and geographies.

Transformation Delivery Enablement

  • Bridge strategy-to-execution, ensuring smooth transition from advisory to delivery.

  • Partner with delivery, platform, and engineering teams to:

Translate architecture into epics, backlogs, and execution plans

Resolve complex architectural and transformation challenges

    Govern architecture through delivery lifecycle

  • Serve as escalation point for architectural risks, trade-offs, and decision-making.

  • Ensure cloud modernization programs deliver measurable business and technology outcomes.

Client Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build trusted relationships with CXOs, CIOs, CTOs, Chief Architects, and senior business leaders.

  • Lead executive workshops, architecture reviews, and transformation planning sessions.

  • Communicate complex architectural concepts in clear, business-oriented language.

  • Act as a long-term advisor on enterprise modernization and cloud evolution.

Practice & Capability Development

  • Contribute to the evolution of enterprise cloud architecture frameworks, reference architectures, and modernization accelerators.

  • Develop reusable assets, playbooks, and points of view for cloud transformation.

  • Mentor and coach architects and senior consultants in enterprise architecture, cloud strategy, and transformation delivery.

  • Represent the organization in cloud partner ecosystems (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and industry forums.
