Summer Childcare Helper Needed – Anders Park, Red Deer We are looking for a kind, reliable, and responsible person to help care for our 7 and 10 year old children during specific weeks this summer in Red Deer. Dates needed: June 29 to July 3 July 13 to July 17 July 20 to July 24 July 27 to July 31 August 3 to August 7 August 10 to August 14 Hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: Approximately 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Tuesday and Thursday: Approximately 9:00 am to 6:00 pm These are the maximum expected hours. There may be occasional fluctuations in scheduling due to our work schedules, and some days may start later or end earlier. You will be paid the full weekly amount listed below, even if actual hours are reduced. Pay: $900 to $1000/week, depending on experience. $22.00/hour for additional hours worked outside the expected timeframe. Paid bi-weekly as an employee; standard payroll deductions will apply. Role may include: -Supervising and caring for children in our home. -Planning simple activities, outdoor play, and outings. -Driving children (or using transit) short distances within Red Deer, such as parks and rec centres. -Preparing simple meals/snacks. -Light tidying related to the kids. We are looking for someone who is: -Dependable, patient, and safety-minded -Comfortable caring for children -Previous childcare experience preferred -Early childhood education/training is an asset -First Aid/CPR is an asset -References preferred -A valid driver’s license is preferred; vehicle arrangements will be discussed with suitable applicants.
