Job description

Overview

Performs a variety of Administrative duties necessary to support Operations and Human Resources. Performs duties of a routine, complex, and confidential nature, requiring exercise of initiative and judgment.

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Answers phone for site, coordinates arrival and departure of employees, visitors and vendors within assigned facility
  • Processes invoices for prompt payment. May be required to process expense reports.
  • Preparing training packets for end users/clients
  • Reviewing job packets from Project Managers to ensure completion
  • Data Entry
  • Supports all employee relations events in assigned facility or region ensuring compliance to HR values and TDW culture such as company sponsored holiday events
  • Assist with facility management when required
  • Will coordinate all HR responsibilities associated with TDW's employee on-boarding program for new hires in assigned region or business line.
  • Utilizes Workday HRMS to upload employee documents as needed and submit tasks for entry to HRIS
  • May assist in the preparation and composition of offer letters, and other business correspondence as requested.
  • Serves as a resource to employees to provide solutions and answer questions on various HR programs such as HR policies and procedures, benefits, events etc.
  • Provides administrative support for various HR programs such as Surveys, Questionnaires, etc.
  • Exercises initiative and judgment in determining action to be taken on routine and non-routine matters with respect to urgency, confidential status, and importance.

Experience

  • Diploma in HR or other business-related discipline preferred. High school diploma required.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years' administrative assistant experience required.
  • 1-3 years of HR Coordination experience an asset.
  • Experience preparing reports and using excel is required.
