Salary range for Night Shift Production Supervisor between 70k and 80k $ annually

At our facility in Etobicoke you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the recovery division of our team as the Night Shift Production Supervisor :

Accept the full responsibility that comes with his / her position in line with Cascades’ OHS requirements.

Help set OHS priorities for his / her sector in line with corporate objectives and follow up on them.

Insist on and create a safe and healthy work environment for all employees in his / her sector.

Promote sound occupational health and safety management

Performance reviews semi-annually, as required.

Employee discipline as necessary.

Train, develop and motivate plant employees.

Maintain and analyze production reports.

Schedule and lead production / crew meetings.

Identify maintenance and / or repair needs daily in conjunction with maintenance.

Approve and monitor overtime.

Update and approve employee time sheets in UltiPro.

Control overhead costs (line-item assignments).

Sign off A / P invoices in conjunction with Plant Manager.

Respond to calls immediately

3-5 years’ experience in a recycling or related industry.

Previous experience with equipment used in the recycling industry and with related mobile equipment would be a definite asset.

Proficient in utilizing computers and Microsoft Office Suite.

Good knowledge of electrical and hydraulic components.

Must be able to work well in an unsupervised environment and as part of a project team.

Proven troubleshooting ability with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Must be well organized.

Good communications and interpersonal skills.

Must be aware of all safety standards and requirements for maintenance work.
