  • Salary range for Night Shift Production Supervisor  between   70k and 80k $  annually

At our facility in Etobicoke you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the recovery division of our team as the Night Shift Production Supervisor  :

  • Accept the full responsibility that comes with his / her position in line with Cascades’ OHS requirements.
  • Help set OHS priorities for his / her sector in line with corporate objectives and follow up on them.
  • Insist on and create a safe and healthy work environment for all employees in his / her sector.
  • Promote sound occupational health and safety management
  • Performance reviews semi-annually, as required.
  • Employee discipline as necessary.
  • Train, develop and motivate plant employees.
  • Maintain and analyze production reports.
  • Schedule and lead production / crew meetings.
  • Identify maintenance and / or repair needs daily in conjunction with maintenance.
  • Approve and monitor overtime.
  • Update and approve employee time sheets in UltiPro.
  • Control overhead costs (line-item assignments).
  • Sign off A / P invoices in conjunction with Plant Manager.
  • Respond to calls immediately

    You too, put forward your strengths :

  • 3-5  years’ experience in a recycling or related industry.
  • Previous experience with equipment used in the recycling industry and with related mobile equipment would be a definite asset.
  • Proficient in utilizing computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good knowledge of electrical and hydraulic components.
  • Must be able to work well in an unsupervised environment and as part of a project team.
  • Proven troubleshooting ability with emphasis on safety and reliability.
  • Must be well organized.
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be aware of all safety standards and requirements for maintenance work.
