DOING RIGHT BY PEOPLE IT’S WHAT WE DO
As an Implementation Specialist, you will lead new clients through a seamless transition onto the Payworks platform. You will be responsible for managing new client expectations with a high level of service and support in response to their implementation needs, regardless of account complexity.
You will manage the set-up of the Payworks workforce management solution and deliver comprehensive training, taking the client from the close of the sale to the pass off to their assigned Client Service Representative.
Leveraging your accelerated understanding of workforce management demands and strong project management skills, you will accurately assess and meet the needs of the client to ensure an efficient and effective implementation.

PROVIDE AN EXCEPTIONAL CLIENT EXPERIENCE IT’S WHAT YOU’LL DO
Build client relationships Payworks takes pride in delivering superior client service to businesses across Canada. As an Implementation Specialist, you will be the client administrator’s first point of contact and provide them with expert advice and guidance on the Payworks product while keeping payroll best practices in mind.
Through needs analysis, you will uncover client requirements using effective probing techniques, active listening, and communication skills while identifying any issues or opportunities which arise from their queries.
Implement great products You will facilitate the client implementation, from data entry and training to equipment delivery, first go live and continuing support.
With your keen attention to detail, you will gather and use the product input requirements specific to each client, enter data and administer the database set-up all while maintaining accuracy and integrity of information.

We will provide a solid training experience to set you up for success, including the option to gain your Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation through Payworks’ close partnership with the National Payroll Institute (NPI)!
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- 3+ years of experience working with the Payworks product. Proficiency in the Payroll and Absence Management modules, and exposure to the Time Management and Human Resources modules is preferred.
- PCP Certification or related studies, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, would be considered an asset.
- Previous experience implementing workforce management solutions or similar software is considered a strong asset.
- Strong technical skills, with proficiency in programs like Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Customer service orientation, with experience conducting needs analysis processes to effectively present and discuss intangible services and solutions with clients.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple demands concurrently, work independently and demonstrate resourcefulness.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle is required for travel to client locations within the GTA.
