About Our Client

Our client is sourcing a Controller for a 3-month contract.

About the Opportunity

• Oversee full cycle accounting of organizations

Responsible for all accounting day-to-day operations including A / R, A / P, GL, Accounting

Lead and manage the annual external audit and tax process

Responsible for the timely and accurate closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with meticulous attention to detail

Review reconciliations for organization

Review A / P, GL Accounts, bank and credit card accounts, payroll

Manage and mentor a team

Develop and maintain internal controls

Implement and enforce accounting policies and procedures

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements, paying careful attention to detail

Monitor and reconcile bank statements and cash accounts

Ensure all accounting systems are up to date About You

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance

CPA designation is considered a plus

Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar role, ideally 2-3+ years of Controller experience

Strong knowledge of CGAAP

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent people management skills

Strong experience in financial software and Microsoft Excel
