Controller

The Company

Our client a tech healthcare company is rapidly growing and looking to hire a Controller to join their team to lead the accounting and finance division.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Executive VP this role will be a standalone position overseeing the entire Accounting and Finance department. The Controller will be responsible for completing the day-to-day accounting, completing month and year-end reports, managing cash flow, create process efficiencies for the department, and lead the budget and forecasting process for the entire business

The Qualifications

• University degree in accounting or finance
• 8+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience
• 1+ years in a finance business partner, controller, or director-level position
• A very smart analytical, and business-minded person not afraid to be hands-on
• Experience working in the manufacturing, distribution, or construction space is an asset
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Tech-savvy
• CPA designation is a big asset
