Responsibilities
- General ledger and journal entries month / year ends
- Financial reporting and variance analysis
- Budgets and forecasts
- Oversee reconciliations, remittances, and taxes
- Review payroll processed by Payroll Administrators, tax, and salary / T4 / T2200 distribution
- Banking activities
- Approve work orders and purchase orders
- Other ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
- About 3-5 years of experience as a senior accountant / assistant controller
- Relevant experience
- Accounting designation strongly preferred, but not required
