Job description

We are currently seeking a Manager, AI Business Solutions to join our team.

The Manager, AI Business Solutions oversees the application and adoption of AI tools across the organization, leading a team of AI Business Analysts and collaborating with business leaders. This role directly engages end users to identify business challenges, match them with approved AI solutions, and ensure effective integration into daily operations. Responsibilities include executing and enabling AI initiatives, driving measurable outcomes, and focusing on training, education, and change management to support lasting adoption. The Manager guides AI BAs in discovering needs, defining use cases, supporting implementation, and working with IT teams while maintaining ownership of the business outcomes.

Here’s what would be included as a part of your typical day

  • Leadership: Provide strategic and day‑to‑day leadership to the AI Business Analyst team, setting clear direction, priorities, and expectations. Coach and develop team members in discovering business needs, defining high‑value AI use cases, and supporting implementation in partnership with IT teams. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and business ownership, ensuring the team remains focused on delivering measurable outcomes and sustained value from AI solutions.
  • Business Problem Discovery & AI Use‑Case Solutioning: Partner directly with business leaders and guide AI Business Analysts in engaging end users to understand business processes, challenges, and opportunities. Identify and shape practical AI use cases that address real business needs using approved AI tools and capabilities. Translate business problems into clear, actionable AI use cases focused on value creation and usability.
  • Training, Education, Adoption & Sustainment: Lead and oversee training, education, and enablement efforts, ensuring consistent approaches and high‑quality execution by AI Business Analysts, to ensure end users understand how to effectively use AI tools and solutions. Remove barriers to adoption by simplifying experiences, improving guidance, and addressing change impacts. Drive sustained utilization of AI use cases within teams, beyond initial rollout.
  • Solution Enablement & Delivery Support: Oversee the application of AI solutions delivered by AI Business Analysts in partnership with business teams. Ensure solutions are practical, usable, and aligned to business workflows. Coordinate with AI Technology and other IT teams when deeper technical support is required, without shifting ownership away from the business.
  • CrossEnterprise Collaboration: Work collaboratively across IT teams, business teams and subject matter experts as needed to support AI use cases. Ensure alignment with enterprise standards while keeping solutions business‑led and outcome‑focused.
  • Responsible AI, Risk & Governance: Ensure AI use cases comply with privacy, security, compliance, regulatory requirements and responsible AI guidelines. Promote consistent, appropriate use of AI tools across the organization.
  • Value Realization & Insight: Define and track success measures such as adoption, time saved, improved workflows, and business outcomes. Communicate impact, lessons learned, and opportunities for improvement to stakeholders.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in business solutions, product management, digital transformation, technology delivery, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in change management, user adoption, and capability sustainment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading analysts or similar business-facing delivery roles.
  • Demonstrated experience working across business and technology teams to deliver enterprise solutions.
  • Experience supporting solution delivery in a regulated environment is an asset.
  • Experience with AI, automation, or digital workplace solutions is preferred.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence across functions.
  • Ability to translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making in complex environments.
  • Clear communicator who can simplify complex topics for different audiences.
  • Outcome-focused and comfortable using data to support decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis, solution discovery, prioritization, and delivery practices.
  • Good understanding of enterprise AI tools, business use cases, and responsible AI considerations.
  • Ability to partner effectively with technical teams without needing to be the technical expert.
  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms and collaboration tools used across First West.
  • Experience defining KPIs, tracking benefits, and reporting outcomes to leadership.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and risk ownership by ensuring work aligns with policies, standards, and procedures, and by escalating issues appropriately.
