Job descriptionRIBO (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) license required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial insurance marketing or brokering. Strong understanding of commercial insurance products (property, liability, commercial auto, etc.). Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and clients. Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Key Responsibilities
- Market new and renewal commercial insurance policies to insurance carriers to secure competitive quotes and coverage options.
- Build and maintain relationships with underwriters and insurance carriers to negotiate terms and rates.
- Collaborate with the sales team to assess client needs and develop customized insurance solutions for businesses.
- Prepare and submit accurate and complete applications for new business and renewals.
- Ensure timely follow-up with carriers to obtain responses and address any issues or concerns.
- Review policy terms and conditions to ensure they align with client expectations and requirements.
- Provide ongoing support to the sales team and clients throughout the policy lifecycle.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, insurance products, and regulatory changes.
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies to promote the brokerage’s commercial insurance offerings.
- Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance knowledge of commercial insurance products, industry best practices, and new market opportunities.
