Battery Operated Builders is hiring a Sales Representative Job Title : Sales Representative – Construction Company Overview : We are a growing construction company specializing in high-quality residential and commercial projects. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional workmanship, strong client relationships, and reliable project execution. We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to drive new business growth and help expand our presence in both residential and commercial markets. Position Summary : The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new leads, building client relationships, preparing project estimates in coordination with the operations team, and closing residential and commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for a driven, results-oriented professional who thrives in a performance-based environment with strong earning potential. Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and pursue new residential and commercial construction opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with homeowners, property managers, developers, and business clients
- Conduct site visits, assess client needs, and coordinate project estimates
- Prepare and present proposals to prospective clients
- Negotiate contracts and close sales
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activity
- Collaborate with project management and operations teams to ensure smooth project handoff Compensation : This position provides a base wage of $20 per hour, in addition to a performance-based commission structure. Employees will receive the hourly base pay while developing their client portfolio and generating project revenue. Commission is paid at 5% Once an employee’s commission earnings meet or exceed the equivalent of a 40-hour workweek at the base rate, compensation will transition to a commission-only structure, providing the opportunity for uncapped earnings directly aligned with individual sales performance. Qualifications :
- Previous sales experience (construction, home services, or B2B sales preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Basic understanding of construction processes is considered an asset What We Offer :
