AFTERNOON SHIFT: 3:30pm - 2:00am (Monday - Thursday). Training will be conducted on day shift.
What we offer: Health and Dental Benefits Plan Group RRSP Discount Program Collaborative Culture Opportunities for professional development Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Set up and operate stamping tools and presses per instructions and keep in good working order.
Assist with “first piece” and “last piece” quality inspections of parts produced.
Perform quality checks as per inspection instructions and inform supervisor of quality issues during production run.
Stack or fill parts into tote pans as required and Maintain production levels.
Operate straightening equipment for steel coils to flatten material prior to press entry.
Complete shift production reports and input data into production software.
Communicate with supervisor about problem areas and deficiencies, so corrective action may be taken.
- Education and Experience: Graduation from high school diploma or receipt of equivalent degree (GED 1 year of Minimum of 1 year experience with set up and operation of stamping presses preferred.
Able to perform simple arithmetic, read measuring devises, and basic computer skills.
