Role Summary
We are seeking a detail ? oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our client's administrative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling financial and vendor-related data, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the daily deposit, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Collect cheques sent by mail and dropped off by drivers
- Use High Radius scanning software to deposit cheques
- Organize and scan all receiving documents for proper filing and record-keeping
- Input vendor debits into the IDS system as required
- Enter data from source documents into company databases or spreadsheets
- Verify accuracy of data by cross ? checking with source documents and correcting errors
- Update and maintain existing records and databases
- Generate routine reports as requested by management
- Organize and file documents (physical or electronic)
- Backup data regularly and ensure data security and confidentiality
- Handle data requests from other departments, ensuring swift access to up ? to ? date information
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
