Randstad has partnered with a leading organization in the construction industry, looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team, located in Milton.

Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Milton (On-site)
Rate of Pay: $29.00 - $32.00/hour
Job Type: 3-month contract with potential month-to-month extension

Responsibilities
• Process a high volume of accounts payable invoices accurately, maintaining a pace of 50-60 transactions daily.
• Execute precise three-way matching by verifying invoices against purchase orders and receiving reports.
• Ensure all invoices are coded correctly to specific project accounts and departments within the construction framework.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in pricing, quantity, or documentation by communicating with internal teams and vendors.
• Support the weekly payment cycle and assist in ensuring all vendors are paid within agreed-upon terms.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and provide documentation for financial audits as needed.

Qualifications
• 3-5 years of dedicated experience in an Accounts Payable function, ideally within the construction or industrial sector.
• Proficiency in large-scale ERP systems; experience with Oracle is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform complex three-way matching and manage high-volume data entry with 100% accuracy.
• Ability to work fully on-site in Milton and the availability to begin work immediately.
