Power Systems Studies Engineer - ( 240003Q0 )
Description
Your Opportunity
The Power Systems Studies Engineer conducts a wide range of power systems modelling and analysis which could include power flow, short circuit, transient stability and insulation coordination studies. Power system modelling and studies using electromagnetic transient simulation (EMT) can be included as well. The Power System Studies Engineer shall read and understand the scope of the studies, conduct the analysis required in compliance with applicable industry standards and / or the client's standards and then prepare the study report documenting the study scope, inputs, assumptions, findings and recommendations.
Your Key Responsibilities
Working under direction of a Studies Team Lead, you will :
- Perform power system modelling and studies using PSS / E, PSLF, ETAP, ASPEN, PSCAD. Types of studies include :
Power flow
Read and clearly understand the scope of the studies
Experience with protection settings and coordination
