Working Hrs. : 7.25 Hrs. / day
Location : 5700 Yonge Street, 10th Floor, Toronto, ON M2M 4K5
Hybrid role - Candidate must work 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
MUST HAVES :
In-depth knowledge and experience with Cognos report development in Cognos Analytics and Administration v12.x (reporting, dashboarding, embedded JavaScript, embedded SQL)
Experience in AWS Cloud technologies, specifically AWS Redshift
Public Sector Experience Experience working in the Public Sector and familiarity with I&IT project management processes 5 points Technical Skills Experience in design and development of Data Marts or Data Warehouses on a wide range of data repositories (relational and multi-dimensional data stores)
Experience in Cognos Analytics reporting; modeling with Framework Manager, Transformer, Dynamic Cube Designer, Data Module, Dataset, SDK; implementing point-in-time architecture; testing with Life Cycle Manager (5+ years)
Excellent requirements analysis skills
Demonstrated experience in working with Power Designer Tool to design logical and physical models, generating scripts and applying model changes.
In-depth knowledge and experience with Cognos report development in Cognos Analytics and Administration v12.x (reporting, dashboarding, embedded JavaScript, embedded SQL)
Knowledge of BI architecture patterns, best practices, processes, and artefacts
Experience developing Cognos reports in the IBM Cloud Pak for Data environment 50 points Core skills, database and domain knowledge Experience in Oracle 19 or higher including writing complex SQL / PL SQL queries and materialized views.
Experience in AWS Cloud technologies, specifically AWS Redshift
Experience in database performance and tuning skills
Experience in Cognos migration and testing skills (reporting, dashboarding, embedded JavaScript, embedded SQL)
Experience with Agile / scrum and waterfall methodologies, using tools such as JIRA and Confluence 35 points General Skills Proven troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
