We are seeking a DataEngineeringIntern to support the deliveryof dataplatformsthat powerIntelcom | Dragonfly’sdecision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building data pipelines, managing cloud-based infrastructure, and working in a fast-paced,innovation-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the design and maintenance of databases, data warehouses, and scalable ETL pipelines.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirementsand deliver scalable solutions
Implementdata validation, cleansing, and governance processes to ensure data quality and reliability.
Monitor andoptimizethe performance of data systems and proactively address inefficiencies.
Document data engineering processes, data models, and technical specifications to support platform adoption.
Ensurecompliancewithdatasecuritystandards andimplementaccesscontrolswhereneeded.
Theroleinvolvesdaily(orregular) communicationwithpan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currentlypursuing abachelor’s or master’s degreeindataengineering,businessanalytics, ora relatedfield.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience withPython, or related language, for data transformation and analysis.
Knowledge ofSQL,ETLand database management.
Familiarity withCloud Technologies (Azureand AWS),Snowflake,Apache Airflow,PowerBIand DBTisan asset.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multipleprojects with accuracy.
Adaptable and effective in dynamic environments.
Proactive and solution-driven mindset.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
