Job description

Position: Electrical Assembler

Type: Temporary with strong potential for permanence after probation

Location: Dorval

Salary: $21 to $25/hr (based on experience) + $2/hr evening premium

Schedule: Stable evening shift (perfect for balancing daytime studies or projects!)

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the electrical assembler position in Dorval are:
You will perform the electrical assembly products according to established technical specifications.
You will accurately interpret electrical schematics to carry out the mounting of control and power panels.
You will use various hand and power tools to perform both internal and external wiring of complex assemblies.
You will handle troubleshooting and unit repairs to correct any malfunctions before the final packaging stage.
You will manipulate heavy-gauge cables, ranging from 2 AWG to 4/0 AWG DLO, in accordance with manufacturing requirements.
You will meticulously prepare the components required for production to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow

Qualifications
The qualifications required for this role are as follow :

You possess a solid ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and technical drawings.
You are physically capable of performing the work, including standing for prolonged periods and lifting loads up to 50 lbs.
You are comfortable working at heights and walking extensively within a dynamic industrial setting.
You demonstrate great rigor in wearing personal protective equipment and strictly adhering to all safety standards.
You have the manual dexterity required to successfully use precision tools and various assembly equipment.
