  • Ensure deliveries, pickups, product movements, intercompany transfers, and other transportation requests are completed safely and on time.

  • Respond to delays, reroutes, service disruptions, customer requests, severe weather, and other operational challenges.

  • Provide day-to-day direction and support to drivers by communicating expectations, assigning work, resolving concerns, and reinforcing company standards.

  • Build positive relationships with drivers through respectful communication, coaching, recognition, active listening, and consistent follow-through.

  • Maintain clear communication with drivers, customers, internal departments, the Dispatch Assistant, and the Logistics Manager.

  • Monitor fleet availability, equipment utilization, vehicle defects, and maintenance requirements.

  • Work collaboratively with Fleet Maintenance to support equipment reliability and availability.

  • Assist with driver recruitment, onboarding, training, workforce planning, development, and performance management.

  • Support third-party carrier relationships and transportation asset administration.

  • Forecast transportation requirements and align driver, fleet, and carrier capacity with business

    needs.

  • Optimize routes, schedules, fleet utilization, and transportation resources to improve productivity,

    service, safety, and cost performance.

  • Review operational results and identify opportunities to improve transportation processes and

    fleet effectiveness.

  • Maintain driver qualifications, compliance records, and other required transportation

    documentation.

  • Coordinate the operational response to incidents, accidents, emergencies, vehicle defects, and

    service interruptions.

  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three to five years of experience in transportation dispatching, fleet coordination,

logistics, or a related transportation leadership position.

  • Strong understanding of transportation operations, routing, scheduling, fleet utilization, and driver

    coordination.

  • Experience coordinating drivers, equipment, and transportation resources in a fast-paced and
