Location: Halifax, NS, Canada-Remote
Terms: Contract

We have customer office in Halifax.. in case of any dependency on device testing should be able to travel otherwise remote is ok.


We have urgent requirement from customer to onboard a resource in the Canada location for the current lighting project with the below JD.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Full Stack Developer with + years of experience, strong expertise in Angular and Java, along with deep knowledge of deployment processes, DevOps pipelines, and infrastructure maintenance. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Cassandra databases and be proficient in AWS and Azure cloud platforms. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Angular (frontend) and Java (backend).

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and manage deployment across environments.

Maintain and optimize infrastructure for performance, reliability, and scalability.

Work with PostgreSQL and Cassandra for data modelling, querying, and performance tuning.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery.

Utilize AWS and Azure services for cloud-based application development and hosting.

Interface directly with customers to gather requirements, provide updates, and deliver solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full technology stack.

Document technical specifications and maintain high code quality standards.

Must-Have Skills:

Strong proficiency in Angular and Java (Spring Boot preferred).

Solid experience in deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

Deep understanding of infrastructure maintenance and system reliability.

Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Cassandra databases.

Proficiency in AWS and Azure cloud platforms.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in customer-facing roles.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance optimization strategies.

Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
