Our Automation & Digitalization division seeks a Senior Engineer who specializes in the design, development, and implementation of control systems for industrial facilities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
Lead control systems projects from inception to completion, ensuring that project goals, timelines, and budgets aremet. Design and develop control systems, including hardware and software components, to meet the specific requirements of a project.
Develop and implement control algorithms and logic.
Integrate control systems with existing or new equipment, machinery, or processes.
Test and debug control systems to ensure proper functionality and adherence to specifications. Identify andresolve any issues or malfunctions through systematic troubleshooting and debugging techniques.
Prepare technical documentation, including system specifications, design documents, user manuals, andmaintenance procedures.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resourcing, including managing the procurement ofnecessary equipment and materials.
- Define project objectives, scope, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders, including identifying opportunities for additional automation and electrification scope within the project.
- Manage project risks and issues, including developing contingency plans and mitigating strategies, and communicating progress and challenges to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and supply chain, to ensure alignmentand timely delivery of project milestones.
- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and senior leadership, including presenting project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers and technologists.
- Assist with the development of proposals.
- Ensure compliance with ANDRITZ Quality System.
- Embody, demonstrate, and reinforce the ANDRITZ core values and behaviours.
