About us: Playground is an internationally renowned gaming destination located a short 15-minute drive south of downtown Montreal, within the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake.

We are currently expanding, unveiling new gaming floors, a luxurious hotel, and specialized dining options.

Position Overview: As a Facilities Technician , you'll be the hands-on expert responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our company's buildings.

Your role involves performing various maintenance tasks, including repairs, installations, and general maintenance duties.

You'll use your practical skills to ensure our facilities are safe, fully operational, and visually appealing.

Your contributions will be vital in providing a well-maintained and efficient work environment.

Schedules: 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am (must be available weekends) What we have to offer: Competitive compensation (based on experience, starting at $23.00 per hour) Discounts on food Opportunities for career advancement Parking on site Company-wide events Playground Cares volunteer opportunities Responsibilities: Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment Perform preventative maintenance on equipment including HVAC, Generators, Ventilation etc.

Handle everyday repairs and maintenance on site Oversee contractors in occasions when professional repairs or servicing is necessary Identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and be able to correct them Repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary Work on preventative and reactive maintenance Move Gaming Machines and tables Requirements: Bilingual French and English (an asset) and must be 18 years of age or older Must have a valid work permit or be a Canadian resident Ability to lift and move heavy objects repeatedly as required Proven experience in a similar role (maintenance repairs in plumbing, electrical, painting, plastering and minor renovations) Related degree from a technical college (an asset) Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.

High degree of competency using common hand and power tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, etc.

Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices Experience performing routine maintenance Strong organizational and follow up skills, detail-oriented Professional presentation and attitude Ability to maintain focus while working autonomously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Join our team and become a vital part of an exceptional journey.

Effectuer les réparations et l'entretien quotidiens sur le site Superviser les entrepreneurs lorsque des réparations ou des services professionnels sont nécessaires Identifier et diagnostiquer les problèmes mécaniques et électriques et être en mesure de les corriger Réparer les machines, les équipements ou les structures au besoin Effectuer de la maintenance préventive et corrective Déplacer les machines de jeu et les tables Exigences : Bilingue français et anglais (un atout) et doit être âgé de 18 ans ou plus Capacité de soulever et de déplacer des objets lourds à plusieurs reprises selon les besoins Expérience avérée dans un rôle similaire (réparations d'entretien en plomberie, électricité, peinture et rénovations) Diplôme connexe d'un collège technique (un atout) Possibilité de démonter des machines, des équipements ou des appareils pour enlever et remplacer les pièces défectueuses.

Haut degré de compétence à l'aide d'outils manuels et électriques courants tels que marteaux, palans, scies, perceuses, etc.
