Our award-winning team is growing, and Barnett Dembek Architects is hiring a  Registered Architect  to be based out of our Surrey office. Barnett Dembek Architects is part of Group 161 which represents a diverse group of companies including Atelier Pacific Architecture, and DF Architecture. We are a young, design-oriented firm specializing in residential, mixed-use, commercial, and civic buildings. We are currently working on large scale projects including wood-frame multi family to residential high-rise projects. We are seeking a  Registered Architect  that must be registered with the AIBC.    Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate professional experience  in architecture, preferably in Canada. Proven project management experience , including leading teams and overseeing complex multi-family and residential projects from design through completion. Experience securing approvals  from local authorities, including rezoning and development permit applications. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp  (additional knowledge of design software is a plus). Solid understanding of local building codes (Part 3 / Part 9) , construction methods, and industry best practices. Lead and manage the design, development, and delivery  of complex multi-family and residential projects from concept to completion. Prepare, review, and coordinate architectural drawings , specifications, and contract documents in compliance with local codes and regulations. Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and contractors  to ensure design objectives are met and project goals are achieved.
