Commissionaires BC is looking to hire for casual on-call Security Officers in Penticton.

Schedule: Casual, On-Call (Weekdays, Weekends)
Pay rate: $19.00

Your Must-Haves:

• You hold a valid BC Security License
• You have 1-2 years of Security experience.
• You have resided in Canada for 5+ years for clearance purposes
• You have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• You have proven time-management and organizational skills
• You have excellent problem solving skills
• You can work under pressure
• Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and work both indoors and outdoors in a range of weather conditions;

Your nice to haves:

• Basic first aid certificate (OFA 1 or equivalent)
• Advanced security training (AST)

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Completing interior and exterior patrols
• Extensive Patrolling
• Offering first class customer service to the client and public
• Access Control
• Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
• Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
• Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
