Commissionaires BC is looking to hire for casual on-call Security Officers in Penticton.
Schedule: Casual, On-Call (Weekdays, Weekends)
Pay rate: $19.00
Your Must-Haves:
- You hold a valid BC Security License
- You have 1-2 years of Security experience.
- You have resided in Canada for 5+ years for clearance purposes
- You have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- You have proven time-management and organizational skills
- You have excellent problem solving skills
- You can work under pressure
- Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and work both indoors and outdoors in a range of weather conditions;
Your nice to haves:
- Basic first aid certificate (OFA 1 or equivalent)
- Advanced security training (AST)
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Completing interior and exterior patrols
- Extensive Patrolling
- Offering first class customer service to the client and public
- Access Control
- Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
- Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
- Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
