Job description

Supply Chain Systems Support Analyst (On-Site, Guelph)

Our client in Guelph is seeking a full-time Supply Chain Systems Support Analyst. The role begins as an initial one-month contract with a fast transition to full-time immediately afterward. This position is entirely on-site in Guelph, supporting a dynamic team within a large, globally recognized organization known for operational excellence, strong technology investment, and a culture that values ownership, continuous improvement, and internal growth.

If you meet most of the criteria below, please apply with your resume. Successful candidates must have reliable transportation for this fully on-site role. Only qualified candidates will be contacted.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for Supply Chain business users across applications, interfaces, reports, access, and operational process issues.

• Work a continental shift schedule aligned to 24/7 Distribution Center operations (day/night rotations, weekends, holidays, extended coverage during critical incidents or go-lives).

• Analyze incidents and requests, clarify business impact, gather evidence, document findings, and coordinate resolution with internal teams, vendors, and managed-service partners.

• Support systems and processes across WMS, transportation, ordering, SAP-connected workflows, inventory, planning, procurement, manufacturing, reporting, and integrations.

• Maintain disciplined ticket management in ServiceNow or similar tools with clear work notes, evidence capture, routing details, and resolution summaries.

• Create and maintain documentation (user guides, runbooks, knowledge articles, test cases, support checklists, training materials).

• Participate in testing for enhancements, releases, upgrades, integrations, and project deployments (test scenarios, validation, defect documentation, UAT support).

• Identify repeat issues, documentation gaps, workflow friction, and opportunities to simplify or standardize support processes.

• Contribute to project delivery as a business/technical analyst, tester, coordinator, and post-go-live support partner.

• Use data and reporting to support issue investigation, root-cause analysis, and operational decision-making.

• Apply AI-enabled tools (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT-style assistants) to improve documentation, analysis, testing, knowledge management, and repeatable support activities.

• Support or interact with systems such as SAP supply chain processes, Manhattan WMS, transportation/routing tools, warehouse/manufacturing applications, Kinaxis, Coupa, middleware, reporting platforms, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Appian, RPA tools, and vendor-managed systems.

• Learn new systems quickly and connect system behavior to business process impact.

• Use no-code/low-code tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Appian, RPA) to support automation opportunities.

• Apply responsible AI usage, including data privacy, validation of AI outputs, and proper handling of confidential information.

Required Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Technology, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.

• 1–3 years of experience in systems analysis, application support, IT support, business analysis, or supply-chain technology support. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

• Experience with enterprise applications, support tickets, testing, documentation, and cross-functional issue resolution.

• Working knowledge of SQL, databases, integrations, APIs, files/interfaces, reporting tools, or scripting (asset).

• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Flexibility to work continental shifts (nights, weekends, holidays). • Strong Microsoft 365 skills (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Supply Chain, Distribution Center, Warehouse, Transportation, Manufacturing, QSR, CPG, Retail, or Franchise operations.

• Exposure to SAP supply chain processes, WMS, TMS/routing, inventory, planning, manufacturing, procurement, or order-to-cash workflows.

• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, agile practices, SAFe, Scrum, or project support. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Appian, RPA tools, AI assistants, or automation-focused process improvement.

• Basic understanding of cloud, web services, data platforms, middleware, EDI, or integration support.
