Job description

Sales Expert (Territory Brand Sales Ambassador)

Location: Whistler, BC (Field-Based)
Employment Type: Contract (3 months)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Expert to represent an innovative, smoke-free product within retail environments. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, engaging customers, and delivering a premium brand experience across multiple retail locations within your assigned territory.

This is a fast-paced, field-based role ideal for individuals who are confident, results-driven, and passionate about sales and customer interaction.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Hourly Rate: Starting at $27/hour
  • Monthly sales incentives
  • Start date: June 1st, 2026
  • 28–40 hours per week
  • 4–5 shifts per week (7-hour shifts, including paid travel time)
  • 2-week paid training period (assessment required for program continuation)

What You'll Be Responsible For

Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Drive sales performance by actively engaging customers and converting interactions into purchases
  • Confidently present product features and benefits through engaging conversations and demonstrations
  • Educate customers on smoke-free alternatives, creating a comfortable and informative experience
  • Meet and exceed individual sales targets and registration goals

Retail Execution & Relationship Building

  • Visit two retail locations daily, ensuring consistent presence and execution within assigned territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail staff and store teams
  • Represent the brand professionally, ensuring a premium in-store experience at all times

Product Demonstration & Expertise

  • Conduct hands-on product demonstrations with confidence and accuracy
  • Maintain strong product knowledge to effectively communicate key selling points and address customer questions
  • Handle objections and guide customers through the purchase and registration process

Reporting & Operational Excellence

  • Accurately complete daily reporting, data entry, and activity tracking using mobile tools
  • Ensure compliance with program guidelines, retail standards, and operational expectations
  • Maintain organization of materials and equipment required for in-store execution

What You Bring

  • 1–2+ years of experience in retail sales, customer service, or brand ambassador roles
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a customer-facing environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently engage customers
  • Comfortable delivering product demonstrations and handling objections
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based role
  • Tech-savvy with experience using mobile devices for reporting and data entry
  • Organized, adaptable, and solutions-oriented

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (mandatory)
  • Ability to travel across Whistler throughout the workday
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs (mobile table and materials)
  • Willingness to complete a background check
