We are currently seeking a REGIONAL SALES MANAGER for a leading North American organization specializing in temporary space solutions, modular infrastructure, and portable storage services.
This organization operates across 260+ locations throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico, delivering innovative, flexible workspace and storage solutions to a diverse customer base across construction, industrial, and commercial sectors.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving regional sales performance, developing top-tier sales talent, and executing strategic growth initiatives across multiple markets.
Position Overview
Reporting to senior commercial leadership, the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for leading, developing, and aligning a regional sales team to achieve revenue targets, expand market share, and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, with a strong focus on coaching, performance management, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Execute regional sales strategies to drive revenue growth, market penetration, and share of wallet
- Develop and implement territory plans aligned with broader commercial objectives
- Participate in regional and national planning sessions to support forecasting and go-to-market strategies
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team
- Set clear performance expectations and drive accountability across the team
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and results-driven execution
Performance Management & Analytics
- Monitor and analyze sales KPIs and pipeline activity to drive performance improvements
- Leverage data, customer insights, and account targeting strategies to optimize sales execution
- Ensure consistent use of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and reporting platforms to track results and inform decisions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with operations, marketing, and leadership teams to align sales strategy with operational capacity and market demand
- Support key account initiatives and customer engagement strategies
Customer & Market Engagement
- Conduct regular field visits (3050% travel) to support the sales team and strengthen customer relationships
- Reinforce consultative selling approaches and best practices across the region
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of sales leadership experience, ideally within:
- Construction
- Equipment rental or leasing
- Logistics or transportation
- Industrial or infrastructure-related industries
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams in a growth-focused environment
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to execute in a fast-paced, evolving market
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and sales analytics tools
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
