Apprentice Electrician (3rd or 4th Year) Data Centre Project

Balzac / Rocky View County, AB

Join one of Alberta's largest data centre construction projects. We're hiring 3rd and 4th Year Apprentice Electricians for a long-term build expected to run 18+ months, offering consistent work, strong earning potential, and plenty of overtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, bend, and run EMT conduit (¾" to 4")
• Pull cable and assist with cable tray installations
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings
• Support electrical installations throughout all construction phases
• Assist with generator tie-ins and commissioning activities as the project progresses
• Maintain safe work practices and site standards

Qualifications

• Registered 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Electrician
• Commercial or industrial construction experience
• Experience with conduit installation, cable pulling, and cable tray systems
• Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints
• Reliable transportation to site
• Valid CSTS, Fall Protection, and EWP/Aerial Lift certifications (or ability to obtain)

Ideal Experience

• Data centre, industrial, or large commercial construction projects
• Medium-voltage electrical systems
• Commissioning experience is considered an asset

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $50.40/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
